DIY Solar Inverter | 800W System Installation

How to design an off-grid solar power system( DIY solar inverter ) and how to size solar panel, battery, charge controller and inverter to match the power consumption of that property where the system is going to be installed. In this post, I am going to talk to you about installing a solar Inverter by yourself. Last year, around this time I had created a Youtube video on how to make a 250 Wh off-grid solar power system. It is still working perfectly powering my office room with clean solar energy. I have decided to upgrade my existing system with another 100 w solar panel and replace the charge controller and inverter with a better one. When you finish this video you will learn what is an off-grid solar Power system, How does an off-grid solar power system work, What are the components of an off-grid solar power system? How to design a solar inverter, How to Connect components of a solar inverter etc. How to Design a DIY Solar Inverter An off-grid solar system has the following compon...

How to Make a Vertical Axis wind Turbine

Soon after my horizontal axis wind turbine project video went viral on YouTube I thought I should make another project on “make vertical axis wind turbine”. Without a doubt, it also got people’s attention. That’s when I realized how much people love Wind turbine projects. In this blog post, I’m going to show you how did I make that project with materials that are locally available. To test that wind turbine I had to use a pedestal fan since there’s not much strong wind in my area. That attracted a lot of criticism. Since I used a pedestal fan to generate the wind to test my wind turbine the trees and leaves behind it didn’t move. But the comments were like, look, there’s no wind for sure, he’s probably tricking us, that’s not a dynamo, that’s a motor that is turning the wind turbine. But the truth is I really enjoyed those comments. Because I too was not satisfied with the output of that wind turbine project. I didn...

How to Make Spiral Copper Pipe Solar Water Heater

We have seen so many different types of solar water heaters. A spiral copper pipe solar water heater is the best choice if you want a continuous supply of medium hot water supply. Apart from my parabolic Trough Solar Water Heater , this project doesn’t need to track the sun all the time.

How to Make Parabolic Trough Solar Water Heater

After the successful completion of my spiral copper pipe solar water heater, I decided to make a parabolic trough solar water heater for my house. In this tutorial, I am going to guide you through all the steps to make a Solar water heater using a parabolic trough.

How to Make Reciprocating Pump

Previously we made a centrifugal water pump. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to make a reciprocating pump. This can be used to pump any type of fluid to get positive displacement. First, watch the below video and get all the PVC fittings we need. There are four components in a reciprocating pump. Piston, cylinder, valve and the crank-motor assembly. How To Make Centrifugal Pump Make reciprocating pump Piston Cylinder Making Valve Making Crank and Motor Assembly Assembling All Components Assemble all the components together. Then connect a 12 V DC source to the Geared motor. Don’t forget to apply lubricant to the piston. Then it will start to pull water from the tank though the valve and pushed out through the other valve. Our reciprocating type pump is ready. This type of pump can be used to pump any type of fluid, not only water. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you have any suggestions to improve this project kindly share them below. DIY STORE

How To Make Centrifugal Pump

It’s been a long time I’m thinking about making a solar-powered water pump for my farm. I already have a 100 w solar panel, which I bought for making my off-grid system. Let’s make a water pump {solar powered) It’s the perfect time to make a solar-powered water pump. Which type of water pump am I gonna make? I thought for a moment. Watched a few YouTube videos, referred to some blogs, and decided to make a Centrifugal pump.  How Centrifugal pumps work? Centrifugal pumps are hydraulically operated machines characterized by their ability to transmit energy to fluids (in particular to liquids) through the work of a field of centrifugal forces. Their main purpose is to transfer fluids through an increase in pressure. Centrifugal pumps have different structures, but their operating principle and fluid dynamic characteristics are always the same.   You may also like: How I Just kick Started my Off-grid Life with This Small Yet Powerful Solar Inverter System ...
